Non-disruptive Oracle Exadata database machine patching will occur: Starting Saturday Nov 18th at 11:00 PM eastern time and ending approximately 10:00 PM Sunday 11/19/2017.

We are using a rolling process to apply the patches which means that only one component will be down at a time. The remaining components can provide all necessary system resources, so all database services will be available during the entire patching process -- no outage is expected for applications that are RAC aware.
