Technical Details

Service Type: Production

Currently, AWS DNS (Route 53) has no means to access Domain Name System (DNS) entries for private campus zones. This change will configure Route 53 in the core VDC account to delegate private sub-domains like the Isilon cluster to campus resolvers. This will allow workloads running in AWS to obtain IP addresses for these resources and route to them.

Changes were made in the AWS accounts which service the ITS Container Service. Users of the Container Service can now resolve IP addresses for turbo storage.
