MiDesktop maintenance - Horizon View upgrade

Issue Symptoms: Outage

The MiDesktop Support Team is upgrading the VMware Horizon View infrastructure between Sat Nov 21 at 11pm and Sunday Nov 22 at 7am.  During the maintenance period, users will be unable to use the MiDesktop service.  Desktop admins will still be able to log into vcenter.midesktop.it.umich.edu to administer their base images.  After the upgrade is complete, desktop admins must update the Horizon View Agent on their base images, then take a new snapshot, and recompose their pools.  A separate communication will be sent to MiDesktop customers with additional information.

Upgrade completed successfully.  At this time provisioning has been enabled and customers may begin recomposing their pools.  A separate communication has been sent to MiDesktop customers with additional information.  Please direct all questions to midesktop.support@umich.edu.
