Issue Symptoms: Outage

On Tuesday 11/10 at 2:30 p.m. UM North Campus has a widespread electrical outage from DTE.  ITS networks (WiFi and wired), PCs, printers, VoIP phones, etc. are affected.  We are assessing the impact to buildings and will provide a list of those buildings within the next two hours.


11/10/20 @ 5:15 pm - Power was restored to campus at approximately 4:35 pm. ITS is in the process of restoring network and Modular Data Center services, which should be completed either today or tomorrow.

11/10/20 @ 7:15 pm - All of the service-impacting failed network equipment has been replaced at this time and arrangements have been made to attend to the few outstanding power-related issues in the morning.

Next Update: ITS services returned to normal or 7 p.m., whichever is first
