Reports of slowness with MiStorage file access

MiStorage users are reporting slowness when accessing files.  The ITS Storage Team is working to diagnose the cause and the scope.

4/9/2021 01:00pm - There have been no reports of slowness on MiStorage and are going to close the status page. We will still continue working with the vendor to understand the cause for the system slowness that some people experienced.  Please report any further MiStorage slowness to 4-Help.

4/8/2021 04:15pm: MiStorage users are reporting that performance has returned to normal, and this is supported by data in the MiStorage monitoring system.  We will continue to monitor MiStorage today and overnight, and if no further reports of MiStorage slowness occur we will close this status page on Friday morning.  We will still continue working with the vendor to understand the cause for the system slowness that some people experienced.  Please report any further MiStorage slowness to 4-Help.

4/8/2021 08:40am: Several users are still reporting slowness when opening Excel files, but this is likely not limited to Excel.  Storage team members are working with these users to identify which folders they are using and gathering additional information for troubleshooting.  Log data was analyzed over night by the vendor and we are awaiting information from them.

4/7/2021 5:00pm: Latency is beginning to return to normal and performance is improving for some users, but the cause of the slowness has not yet been identified.  ITS Storage is opening a ticket with the storage vendor and gathering log data

4/7/2021 4:45pm: ITS Storage is still working to identify the performance issue, which appears to be affecting Windows users.
