We continue to reach out to units at Wolverine Tower to collect user information to prepare for migration to Zoom Phone.  Will keep status page open until September 9th for user awareness during fall rush.

Although we continue to have a degradation of legacy voice service in Wolverine Tower, we are actively working with units to transition users to U-M Zoom phone.  This will take some time to gather all user requirements and make the transition.  We will leave the ticket open as we work through the process.

We are still experiencing a degradation of phone service in Wolverine Tower.  We are reaching out to impacted units to gather requirements for their transition to U-M Zoom Phone.  Next update:  8/26/2022 @ 1:00pm

We are working on alternative solutions for the impacted users and will continue to monitor the stability of the effected hardware.  Next update 8/23/22 @ 1:00pm

We are still working on this issue and looking into alternative solutions for Wolverine Tower users.

We are still working on a solution to restore service to impacted users.  Next update @ noon.


Due to a water leak in Wolverine Tower this morning some of our legacy telephone equipment suffered water damage.  We are currently experiencing a service degradation affecting up to 377 telephone lines.  Some users in Wolverine Tower may not be able to make or receive telephone calls.

We are in the process of drying out and replacing the damaged hardware.  We don't have an estimated time of service restoration but we will provide status updates.
